Students to show their best photography at Kern Building exhibit

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Some of the best photojournalism work by students in the College of Communications will be displayed throughout April in the Kern Building.

“ComPhoto 2013” will feature nearly two dozen photos taken during the 2012-13 academic year that have been selected by faculty members as the best representatives of student work. All of the images were submitted for class assignments.

The exhibit will feature images ranging from a portrait of Penn State Boxing Club Vice President Betty Walker to a photo of the New Jersey Jet Star roller coaster washed up in the Atlantic Ocean after Hurricane Sandy.

Most of the photos are Penn State-related images, including a special tribute to THON, the Penn State Dance Marathon.

The exhibit will run through April 30.
