New Penn College student blog showcases creative talents

The creative work of two Pennsylvania College of Technology student photographers is being shared via a new website – the Penn College Student Blog.

Created by Marc T. Kaylor, of Annville, and Whitnie-rae Mays, originally from Birdsboro, student photographers in the College Information and Community Relations (CIRC) Office, the blog features personal introductions by the students and regular posts showcasing their college experiences.

The blog can be viewed at http://studentblog.pct.edu/ and is promoted via the college’s website and Facebook page.

Kaylor, a junior in aviation maintenance technology, joined the CICR staff in November. He earned his Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant license in 2012. He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, holding the treasurer position for the Penn College chapter, and is president of the Inter-Fraternity Council on campus.

Mays holds an associate degree in advertising art and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in technology management. She joined the CICR staff in January 2011. Mays is also a Community Assistant and Presidential Student Ambassador, and holds the position of vice president of public relations for the Student Government Association.
