Parking Office now accepts credit cards, LionCash+

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- In an effort to provide more options for its customers, the Penn State Parking Office is now accepts major credit cards and LionCash+ for payments.

University Park students, faculty/staff and visitors can visit the office, located in the Eisenhower Parking Deck, and use Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover for transactions at the desk. Students and University employees can use LionCash+, a flexible spending account provided by the Penn State id+ Card. The cards can be used to buy permits and pay parking fines at the office.

Accepting credit cards is a part of an initiative to update all aspects of the campus parking operation. Future goals include implementing a Web-based parking system across campus, which includes more online options and automated parking meters.

The campus community can stay connected to what’s new, and get alerts on campus traffic and parking changes via the office’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Visit the Parking Office website for more information on parking, campus transit, alternative transportation and more.

The Parking Office establishes parking rules and regulations, distributes parking permits, manages the use of parking facilities at University Park and issues parking violations. It also operates several Kiosk Information Booths on campus where faculty, staff, students and visitors can obtain information and maps of campus.
