Volunteers sought for study on weight loss

 

Volunteers, women, ages 21 to 65, with no history of weight loss surgery, are needed for a research study to determine the efficacy of a peer-led weight loss program that focuses on the development and use of problem-solving skills to help participants lose weight.

Volunteers will participate in four training session and then lead 12 weekly group sessions. Compensation is provided.

Volunteers must be patients of Penn State Hershey Internal Medicine or Penn State Hershey Medical Group Nyes Road.

This research study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board, under federal regulations at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine.
