The Operation Smile Student Group at Penn State College of Medicine is hosting the fourth annual Miles for Smiles 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, March 23. All proceeds from the race will be donated to Operation Smile, a medical charity dedicated to helping children who are afflicted with cleft palate and other facial deformities by providing corrective surgery. Just $240 is enough to sponsor one of these surgeries.

The race will be held at the University Fitness Center on the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine campus, with registration opening at 7:30 a.m. and the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. A short awards ceremony will follow.
