Openings available in Penn State preschool rooms, summer day camp

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Bennett Family Center and the Child Care Center at Hort Woods are accepting children ages 3 to 5 into preschool classes. In addition, the Child Care Center at Hort Woods is accepting applications for school-aged children (completing kindergarten through fifth grade) to enter its summer day camp.

Both the Bennett Family Center and the Child Care Center at Hort Woods are located on the University Park campus of Penn State, and are administered by the Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the College of Health and Human Development.

The 2013 summer day camp, which runs from June 10 to Aug. 23, will include campus field trips, indoor activities, and sports and swimming. Registration forms and activity fees are due May 3.
