Edwin W. Zoller Gallery to host student exhibition: 'Meet Me Right Here'

The Penn State School of Visual Arts’ (SoVA) Edwin W. Zoller Gallery will present "Meet Me Right Here" by Dana Harper and Gabe Kenny, second-year master of fine arts degree candidates at Penn State. The exhibition will be on display Feb. 25 to March 1, with a public reception at 5 p.m. on Feb. 25 in the Zoller Gallery in the Visual Arts Building on the University Park campus.

Although Dana and Gabe have trained in sculpture and printmaking respectively, their collaboration will emphasize a shift towards video art and installation. Their artwork documents their budding relationship- from first kiss to first time together in the nude and all the awkwardly beautiful moments in between. The gallery space will be divided into three zones: traditional white cube gallery, working studio and living space. Throughout the building's hours of operation they will be creating art and living in the space, encouraging questions from visitors.

The Edwin W. Zoller Gallery is a non-profit exhibition space dedicated to the advancement of the visual arts and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. during Fall and Spring semesters. Zoller Gallery was founded in 1971 and is located in the Visual Arts Building off Curtin Road adjoining the Palmer Museum of Art on the University Park campus. Public programming at Zoller includes artist lectures, visual art performances, artist residencies and interdisciplinary events. This facility was named for Edwin W. Zoller in recognition of his dedicated career as an artist and teacher.
