UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Mathew Burrows, counselor and director of the Analysis and Production Staff at the National Intelligence Council, will discuss the recently released Global Trends 2030 report from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. March 28, in 135 Reber Building. The report is intended to stimulate thinking about the rapid and vast geopolitical, social, economic, scientific, and technological changes characterizing the world today and possible global trajectories during the next 15 to 20 years. The report is not a prediction but rather a framework for thinking about possible futures and their implications. For more information on the report, go to http://www.dni.gov/index.php/about/organization/national-intelligence-council-global-trends.
The event is sponsored by Penn State's The Strategic and Global Security Program. For more information, contact Darryl Farber at firstname.lastname@example.org.
