Engineering Science's Segall named STLE fellow

 

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Albert Segall, professor of engineering science and mechanics at Penn State, has been named a fellow of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).

Segall has been a member of the Penn State faculty since 2002. Before joining the University, he was a faculty member at Washington State University and director of engineering programs for its mechanical and manufacturing engineering department.

Segall received his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in 1982, his master of science in engineering mechanics in 1986 and his doctorate in engineering science and mechanics in 1992, all from Penn State.

He and other fellows will be recognized at the upcoming STLE annual meeting May 7 in Detroit.
