Penn State Altoona will hold two workshops for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and students at the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence in downtown Altoona.

Financing New Ventures will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, with presenters from the Altoona-Blair County Development Corporation, Saint Francis University, KIZ Resources, LLC, and Reliance Bank.

Effective Interviewing and Hiring Techniques will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, with presenter Sally Williams, president of Webber HR Solutions, Inc.

The workshops are free. Interested individuals must register by the Tuesday before each workshop by calling 814-940-3401 or emailing sas79@psu.edu.
