Capital Improvements to Franco on Schedule

Keeping pace with the growing student body, Berks campus began construction of an addition to the Franco Building in the spring of 2002 that is slated to be completed in time for the spring 2003 semester. The approximately $2 million addition (including equipment and furnishings) was designed by the architectural firm Apkin, Olshin, and Lawson-Bell in Philadelphia and the project is being coordinated by Hollenbach Construction, Inc., based in Lancaster. The 10,000-square-foot addition will house three new classrooms, a learning center and additional faculty offices.
