Basketball Teams Begin Slates in Pre-Season Tournaments

Both Penn State's basketball teams will open up their respective seasons in pre-season tournaments this coming week. The Penn State Nittany Lions will take part in the prestigious Owens Corning Pre-Season NIT. The team will visit North Carolina on Monday, Nov. 18 for a 7 p.m. game that will air on ESPN2. If the team should win, they would play a second round game on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at a site to be determined; that game would be an ESPN telecast. The Lady Lions will take part in the Pre-Season Women's NIT. Penn State hosts Bucknell on Friday, Nov. 15 in a 7 p.m. game at the BJC.
