Knighted Geographer, Master Cellist to Receive Honorary Degrees

Two eminent educators -- renowned geographer Sir Alan Wilson and international cellist Aldo Parisot - will be awarded honorary degrees during fall commencement ceremonies at University Park, on Saturday, Dec. 21. Wilson will receive an honorary doctor of science degree and will be the speaker at the undergraduate commencement at 10 a.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. Parisot will receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree and will speak at the undergraduate commencement at 1 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center. For the full story, visit
