Anita McDonald Named New Campus Executive Officer

Anita D. McDonald has been named campus executive officer for Penn
State DuBois effective Feb. 24, 2003. Currently dean of Extended
University, Summer Session, and Evening and Weekend Campus at the
University of Arizona, McDonald has held senior academic
administration positions at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and
also has taught at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. "We are
very pleased to have attracted someone with such a strong track
record in continuing education, campus growth, and budget
management," said Diane Disney, dean of the Commonwealth College.
"Her life-long dedication to non-traditional students and her 18
years of experience in a multi-campus system should make her
transition to Penn State a very comfortable one." In accepting the
position, McDonald said, "I am looking forward to working with the
outstanding faculty, staff and administration at the DuBois Campus
and becoming part of the prestigious Pennsylvania State University
system. I am also excited about becoming actively involved in the
