Penn State Erie to Build New Residence Hall

Penn State Erie is looking forward to construction of Senat Hall, a new residence hall that will accommodate 150 students. Trustees approved final plans for the building earlier this month, and construction is expected to begin in May. The project reflects the continued growth of campus housing. The opening of Ohio and Almy halls in recent years raised the number of students living on campus to 1,500, and this new facility will increase that number to 1,650 when it opens in fall 2004.
