Holocaust Survivor to Share Life's Experiences with Campus on March 19

Holocaust survivor Nesse Godin will share her experiences of life in a Lithuanian ghetto and a Nazi concentration camp during an appearance on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in the Hiller Building auditorium at
Penn State DuBois. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend. Godin is a survivor of the Shauliai, Lithuania Ghetto, the Stutthof Concentration Camp, four labor camps and a death march. She has dedicated her adult life to teaching and sharing memories of the Holocaust, in the process receiving numerous awards for her efforts. Her life story has been featured in numerous publications, including The Washingtonian Magazine and Scholastic News. She has appeared on several TV and radio programs, such as "In Memory of Millions" hosted by Walter Cronkite and "Beyond Hate" with Bill Moyers.
