Cats rule the stage at Eisenhower Auditorium

The musical "Cats" played to a sold-out house at Eisenhower Auditorium on the University Park campus Tuesday night. The cast, which ranged in age from 19 to 25, spent much of the day rehearsing. After a sound check from 5 to 6 p.m., they scattered to their dressing rooms to transform into their feilne alter-egoes. Dee Roscioli, a native of Easton, Pa., plays the distinctive Grizabella, but opens the show as a more nondescript cat. This production of "Cats," which will play to another sold-out audience tonight, is the only North American tour licensed by composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.
