State's high school computer fair held on campus

The Pennsylvania Department of Education's Office of Educational Technology and the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit recently sponsored the Pennsylvania High School Computer Fair at Penn State Beaver. The annual event is designed to highlight Pennsylvania high school students' computer applications skills and knowledge. Students are asked to demonstrate creativity, learn how to convey information dynamically and enhance the overall learning process. Categories for participation included information-based Web page design, business applications, curriculum-based Web page design, graphic design, multimedia presentations, text-based desktop publishing, digital movie, and computer fair logo.
