Scholarship dinner celebrates life of Barbara Junker

Nearly 300 people gathered for the Behrend Medallion Scholarship Dinner in the McGarvey Commons at Penn State Erie on May 22, to honor the legacy of the late Barbara F. Junker '57. The crowd celebrated with her family as she was awarded posthumously the college's highest honor, the Behrend Medallion. Family and friends also honored Junker by raising $117,000 to create the Barbara F. Junker Trustee Scholarship.
