Personal story of wrongful imprisonment coming to campus

There are times when the court system fails and there is no justice. That was the case with Joyce Ann Brown, who was wrongly accused and convicted of a crime she did not commit. She then spent more than nine years in the Texas prison system working to secure her release. Brown will appear on the Penn State Schuylkill campus Monday, Nov. 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. speaking about her imprisonment, release, and her ongoing efforts on behalf of other wrongfully convicted people across the nation.
