Red Hawk Dancers feature living native American history at Altoona

For thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans, Indian Culture thrived along the banks of the Hudson River. Today, hundreds of indigenous people have joined the Red Hawk Indian Arts Council to participate in activities for the preservation of Native American life and culture. The Red Hawk Dancers, Drummer & Singers tour extensively and are featured at national pow-wows, major festivals and colleges across the country. They'll perform authentic Native American dance, drum and song at Penn State Altoona on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. in the Slep TV Lounge. The performance is free and open to the public.
