All home dual wrestling meets to be televised in 2003-04

For the first time in the history of the program, the Penn State wrestling team will have its entire home dual meet schedule televised. The Nittany Lions began their 96th season on the dual meet mats Saturday (Dec. 13), when they took on traditional rival Navy in Rec Hall. Penn State has made arrangements with local station C-Net (Channel 7 in State College) to carry five home matches on a tape-delay basis. Penn State's WPSX-TV (Channel 3) will carry the sixth home match live. The matches also will be streamed to satellite, allowing FOX-Sports/Pittsburgh (channel 34) and College Sports Television (CSTV) to televise some matches and fans from outside the local area to view matches on satellite TV.
