Baker and Knorr elected to Foundation positions; Grady recognized for service

The January meeting of the DuBois Educational Foundation (DEF) is also the board's annual reorganization meeting. Two new directors were elected, and one retiring director was recognized and thanked for her outstanding service. James Baker of DuBois, vice president for corporate banking with County National Bank in DuBois, and W. Barnett Knorr of Cranberry, director of Jeff Tech in Reynoldsville, were elected to serve new three-year terms on the board. The DEF board is composed of three flights of directors with eight directors in each flight. Terms of office are arranged so that one third of the board is up for election each year. Incumbent directors Ben Blakely of DuBois, Paul "Bud" Brazinski, of Ridgway, John Garner of Treasure Lake, David London of Big Run, Greg Volpe Falls Creek, and Dan Stover of DuBois were re-elected to those seats. Susan Grady, vice president for human resources at DuBois Regional Medical Center, was recognized for her service to the foundation and the campus.
