Women throughout America will "Go Red For Women" this February to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease, women's No.1 killer. The American Heart Association's campaign invites women to take charge of their heart health, make it a top priority and live a stronger, longer life. Throughout Heart Month, February, faculty, staff, and students will show their support for heart disease awareness by participating in a number of heart healthy events. "Along with Penn State Berks, and, hopefully, other Penn State campuses in our area, we will be making it a point to educate our campus community on the real truth of women and heart disease," states Ann M. Williams, campus executive officer of Penn State Lehigh Valley.
