Charles McCollester, director, Pennsylvania Center for the Study of Labor Relations at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, will kick-off Penn State McKeesport's Teaching Haiti 2004 Speaker Series on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 12:15 p.m. in the Ostermayer Room of the Student Community Center. McCollester's lecture, "Haiti Matters! Political Upheaval in the Shadow of History," will provide a brief overview of Haitian history with a description of the present crisis. He recently returned from Haiti where he was present at the celebration of the bicentennial of Haiti's independence.
