Recitals

The School of Music has scheduled the following recitals on the University Park campus:

--Tuesday, March 16: 8 p.m., Chiasmo Ensemble, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Thursday, March 18: 6 to 10 p.m., IAJE-PSU Jazz Festival, 128 Music Building II;

-- Friday, March 19: all day, IAJE-PSU Jazz Festival, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Saturday, March 20: all day, IAJE-PSU Jazz Festival, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Sunday, March 21: 8 p.m., Musica Nova, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Friday, March 26: 6 to 11 p.m., Graduate Research Exhibit, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Saturday, March 27: 8 p.m., Trombone Choir II, Esber Recital Hall;

-- Sunday, March 28: 2 p.m., The High Fives, 128 Music Building II; and

-- Sunday, March 28: 5 p.m., University Choir and Chamber Orchestra, Esber Recital Hall, tickets are $4 for adults, $2 for students.

Cultural Arts Series continues

The Cultural Arts Series continues its spring season when An Afternoon with the Arts Opera Lecture Series presents "The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein" at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, in 112 Woodland Building, Penn State Abington. Moylan C. Mills, professor emeritus of integrative arts, is the host. Admission is $8, payable at the door or in advance. For information, call (215) 881-7368.
