Penn State, CCAC sign articulation agreement in psychology

Two area institutions of higher education have joined in their efforts to streamline the transfer process for students who wish to earn baccalaureate degrees in psychology. The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) has signed a formal articulation agreement with Penn State Commonwealth College for the bachelor of arts degree in applied psychology. This will ensure an efficient transfer of CCAC credits for students who want to continue their studies at select Penn State campuses. The applied psychology bachelor's program prepares students either for graduate study in psychology and other social sciences, or for jobs in government, social service, research, law enforcement and business. Penn State Beaver, Penn State McKeesport and Penn State New Kensington offer this degree program, and the articulation agreement also pertains to Penn State Berks-Lehigh Valley College in eastern Pennsylvania.
