Medical center board of directors to hold annual public meeting June 22

The annual public meeting of the board of directors for Penn State Hershey Medical Center will take place from 4-5 p.m. June 22 in the hospital auditorium.

Members of the public and the medical center and College of Medicine community may attend the meeting, which will include a year-end report on the organization's medical education, research and patient-care enterprises; an outline of the medical center's plan for continued growth under the "Next Generation" strategy; and the overall financial outlook for the medical center.

Darrell G. Kirch, senior vice president for health affairs, chief executive officer of the medical center, and dean of the College of Medicine; David S. Hefner, the medical center's executive director and chief operating officer; Ted Junker, president of the board of directors; and Penn State University President Graham B. Spanier will take part in the annual meeting.
