Penn State-Northwestern football game to kickoff at 12:10 p.m. on ESPN Plus

University Park, Pa. -- ESPN Plus will televise Penn State's Big Ten home game with Northwestern on Saturday, Nov. 6 to a regionally syndicated audience. Kickoff is set for 12:10 p.m. ET in Beaver Stadium.

Approximately 50 stations or regional sports cable networks will carry the contest, with clearances to be announced early next week.

The telecast is the ninth announced television appearance this season for Penn State. The Nittany Lions have played twice on ESPN, twice on ABC, once on ESPN2 and three times on ESPN Plus.

The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 122 of their last 124 games, including every game this season.

Penn State leads the series with Northwestern, 7-2, with a 4-0 mark at Beaver Stadium. The Wildcats posted a 17-7 comeback win last year in Evanston.

Northwestern hosts Purdue Saturday before the contest with the Nittany Lions.

Future Penn State contests may be selected by the networks under the six and 12-day provisions of their contracts with the Big Ten.

A limited number of tickets, including some returned by the opponents, are left for Penn State's remaining home games against Northwestern and Michigan State (Nov. 20) in the season ending battle for the Land Grant Trophy.
