Follow-up distribution of new identification badges planned for Dec. 9 and 10

During the initial new identification (ID) badge distribution, more than 6,800 badges were distributed in less than a week. There still are approximately 1,200 badges that need to be picked up. Because many people may have been on vacation, or just simply unable to make time to come get their new badge, a second distribution of cards will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9 and 10 in the hospital cafeteria. After this distribution, arrangements must be made with the ID badge office for pick up at the Eastmoor building. New ID badges are not currently activated for use in any system. Old ID badges should be used in card swipe systems until notification is distributed that badge dependent systems are transitioning.
