Lecture looks at hydrogeologic aspects of I-99 construction

Walt Ebaugh, a hydrogeologist and board member of the ClearWater Conservancy, will give a presentation on "I-99 Construction and Acid Runoff: Where Does the Road Lead From Here?" from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, in the large conference room of the Land and Water Building, University Park. This talk will specifically address the hydrogeologic setting aspects of the acid rock drainage issues surrounding the construction of Interstate 99. This is the second in a series of lectures on the problems and opportunities associated with I-99 construction at Skytop in Centre County. The event is sponsored by the Penn State University Student Chapter of the American Water Resources Association.
