Percussion Ensemble 1 plans spring concert

The Penn State Percussion Ensemble 1 is giving its spring concert at 8 p.m. April 15 in Esber Recital Hall, University Park. The concert features Penn State alumni Kevin Taylor, who now performs with the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C., and Nick Petrella, who will be presented with a Outstanding Alumni Achievement award Friday afternoon at the College of Arts and Architecture awards ceremony. Petrella is education director for Sabian, Ltd., and president of the School of Music Affiliate Program Group. Tickets, $4 for the general public and $2 for students, are available at the door.
