The Penn State Invitational Jazz Festival, held Saturday, April 9, in Esber Recital Hall on Penn State's University Park campus brought musicians from several schools to the campus for the day. In all, eight bands were featured during the adjudication portion of the festival, including one middle-school jazz band and performances by Penn State's Inner Dimensions and Outer Dimensions. An awards ceremony was held at 7 p.m., followed by a concert by Penn State Centre Dimensions and a post-concert gala/jam session.
