-- Pennsylvania Centre Stage will present "Fences," April 19 through May 7, at the Citizens Bank Theatre, in the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center. "Fences" is part of the Pulitzer Prize-winner and Pittsburgh native August Wilson Festival to be held April 27 through 30 at University Park. For details, check http://live.psu.edu/story/11560

In their second season of Big Ten competition, the 1994 Nittany Lions became the first team in Big Ten history to post a 12-0 record. Penn State won the Big Ten championship and defeated Oregon in the 1995 Rose Bowl, but finished No. 2 in the final polls to Nebraska. The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 1 in the final New York Times and Jeff Sagarin (USA Today) computer rankings. More than 30 members of the '94 team have thus far indicated they will return for the 10-year reunion on Blue-White Weekend. For details, check http://live.psu.edu/story/11092

Due to the many activities occurring this weekend, there will be some changes to parking in the vicinity of Beaver Stadium and the Bryce Jordan Center. Effective Thursday, April 21, the majority of the southern section of the Stadium West commuter parking lot that is bordered by Curtin Road and adjacent Beaver Stadium, will be reserved from 6 p.m. Thursday evening through Sunday at noon. The area will also be posted with signs. Vehicles parked in that area at 4 p.m. will be allowed to exit, but no cars will be allowed to enter. All vehicles must be removed from that area no later than 6 p.m. This area is reserved for the Blue-White Carnival, the set-up for which will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

If the commuter lots fill on Friday due to this reserved area, commuter lot permit holders may park in the gravel Commuter Overflow lot located east of Porter Road.

The Campus Bus Service (Loop and Link) will continue to operate on the normal service schedule through Friday night. There will be no Campus Bus Service to the commuter lots during Saturday's Blue-White festivities. The Campus Bus Service will resume normal operations upon conclusion of the Blue-White festivities.

Coming in from out of town for the weekend? Reserve a room at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at a special Blue/White Weekend rate. For details or reservations, call (800) 233-7505.
