Photos, abstracts to be exhibited at University Park

Two exhibits are planned for this summer at the HUB Gallery and the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at University Park.

-- Natalie Tranelli will display a series of her large photographs from June 13 to July 31 in the HUB Gallery. These black-and-white photographs are an exploration and contrast of varied forms of strength found in male and female bodies.

-- A collection of Catherine O'Connell's large abstract paintings will be on display through Sept. 11 in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. O'Connell is an undergraduate student at the University pursuing her bachelor's of fine art in painting and drawing. She also attended Moore College of Art and received the Margaret Giffen Schoenfelder Memorial Award for excellence in painting.

Admission to both exhibits is free. For more information, contact the HUB-Robeson Galleries at (814) 865-2563 or visit http://www.sa.psu.edu/usa/galleries online.
