SROP students to present research

As the culmination of their research projects, 38 undergraduate students who are participating in the Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) at Penn State will present their work at the SROP Research Symposium beginning at 9 a.m. July 26 in Boardrooms I and II at The Nittany Lion Inn on Penn State's University Park campus. The University community may attend and may preview the schedule of presenters and their research topics at http://www.gradsch.psu.edu/diversity/SROPResearchSymposium.html online. The SROP is designed to interest talented, undergraduate students from underrepresented groups in academic careers and to enhance their preparation for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors.
