Pattee and Paterno Library exhibit schedule announced

The Pattee and Paterno Library at University Park is the site of some new exhibits which are free to the public. The schedule follows:

-- "Robert Joyce Collection: Portraits in Activism," from Historical Collections and Labor Archives, the Special Collections Library, sponsored by the University Libraries and the Libraries' Diversity Committee, on display through Oct. 31, Pattee Library main exhibit area.

-- "Diversity and Our University, We Are All Penn State," an exhibit of celebration for the Penn State community, on display through Oct. 31, Diversity Studies Room, 109 Pattee Library. The brainchild of Denise Hinds Zaami, Penn State's diversity advocate at University Park, the exhibit includes artifacts, photographs, books, posters, scrapbooks, historical items, contemporary creative works and clothing all related to the theme of "Diversity" at Penn State. Exhibit items, loaned by individuals and groups from the Penn State Community and from the libraries' collection, showcase the culture here on campus and the cultures of students from around the world.

-- "Kenneth Burke and His Circles," from Rare Books and Manuscripts, the Special Collections Library, on display through Sept. 30, Special Collections Exhibition Hall, 104 Paterno Library.

-- "Cases of Character: Selections of Photographic Case Art," from the B. and H. Henisch Photo-History Collection Exhibition Room, on display through Dec. 30, 201A Pattee Library.

-- "Celebrating the Sesquicentennial, The Year in Review," images from the Penn State University Archives Collection, on display through Dec. 31, Robb Hall, Hintz Alumni Center.
