Alison Krauss and Union Station to visit Jordan Center

Alison Krauss and Union Station will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at The Bryce Jordan Center, University Park. The show features Jerry Douglas and debuts a new theatre design at the Jordan Cente. New, reserved theatre-style seating tickets are $39.75 and $34.75. Penn State student tickets are $24.75, with a one-ticket limit per I.D. Krauss, at the age of 33, has achieved more career milestones than most people do in their lifetime. Her first album was released when she was 16. She has released 10 studio albums, all on Rounder Records, with her longtime band, Union Station. Their most recent release is "Lonely Runs Both Ways," which already has been certified gold, with their two-disc recording "Live" and their two-disc "Live DVD" being certified platinum. To date, she has earned 17 Grammy Awards and multiple Country Music Association Awards, International Bluegrass Music Awards and countless others. Her album releases have been critical and commercial successes with more than a combined 7 million albums sold.
