Business professor presents paper at conference

A professor of business administration/business law at Pennsylvania College of Technology presented a paper at the Conference on Emerging Issues in Business and Technology, held Nov. 3-5 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Irwin H. Siegel's paper, "Applying Organizational Theory Concepts: The Studebaker Case," also was published in the conference proceedings.

Siegel joined the Penn College faculty in 1998 after nearly 20 years in business and as an in-house corporate attorney. A 2005 recipient of Penn College's "Master Teacher" award, he teaches mainly upper-level management courses at the college and heads the student-internship program for the School of Business and Computer Technologies.

Siegel earned a doctorate in adult education from Penn State, a master of laws degree from Widener University School of Law, a law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and a bachelor's degree in English from Lebanon Valley College.
