Penn State Lehigh Valley's Concourse Gallery will offer an exhibit celebrating a variety of the most important holiday rituals from around the world from Dec. 6 through 22. The exhibit, which is being created by the students, staff and faculty from the campus, will feature a look into both religious and cultural holidays, including Christmas and St. Nicholas Eve (Christian); Diwali (Hindu); Hanukkah (Jewish); Kamundagan sa Naga Festival (Philippine); Kwanzaa (African-heritage); Ramadan (Islamic); and Songkran (Thai). The focus of the exhibit is to highlight the diversity of the campus community, as well as the surrounding community, and bring an understanding of acceptance for all cultural celebrations and differences. The exhibit is free to the public from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.
