Pennsylvania Centre Stage announces season lineup

Pennsylvania Centre Stage will produce three shows, May 30 through July 29, at the Citizens Bank Theatre in the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center.

The dark humor of "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" will cast light on the proverbial question May 30 through June 10. This may be the only time in which a person's right to die is regarded as a happy ending.

Next up is "Rounding Third," June 20 through July 1, where two coaches have two totally different approaches to one of America's greatest institutions -- Little League baseball.

Then a new musical revue, "Sisters of Swing," July 11 through 29, will follow Andrews Sisters -- Maxene, Patty and LaVerne -- as they bounce through such songs as "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Bei Mir Bist Du Schon," "Rum and Coca Cola" and "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree."

Subscription orders start at $65 and are available thorough June 10. Single tickets start at $22 and are available starting March 15. Tickets are available at the New Penn State Tickets Downtown, Eisenhower Box Office, Bryce Jordan Center or by calling (814) 863-0255 or (800) ARTS-TIX.
