Tobacco-free town meeting planned for Dec. 19

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine faculty and staff interested in learning more about the tobacco-free policy, which goes into effect Jan. 1, may attend an open forum from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 19 in lecture room C. Topics include the specific details of the policy's implementation and resources available for employees who want assistance refraining from tobacco at work or who want to quit smoking completely. The tobacco-free policy applies to all Medical Center- and College of Medicine-leased or owned properties and covers not only faculty and staff, but also patients and visitors.
