Vote for JoePa as ESPN.com's 'Greatest College Football Coach of All Time'

University Park, Pa. -- Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno is among four semifinalists in ESPN.com's vote for the title of Greatest Football Coach of All Time, presented by Citi. Paterno is in third place behind  Paul "Bear" Bryant, Tom Osborne, and Eddie Robinson as of mid-afternoon on Monday (Dec. 3). Online voting at http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/specialsection/citirosebowl/2007/index ends at 11:59 a.m. ET Thursday, Dec. 6.

Paterno was inducted into the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame on Dec. 4, becoming just the third active coach to gain induction. He is second in all-time wins among Division I college football coaches, just two wins behind Bobby Bowden of Florida State.

Paterno, who is the all-time leader in bowl wins (22-10-1) and appearances, has an impressive 68.2 winning percentage in bowl games, third-best all-time among coaches with at least 12 bowl appearances. He is the only coach to win the Rose, Fiesta, Orange, Sugar and Cotton Bowls. Paterno has taken Penn State to 13 different post-season contests, winning in 11 locales, more than anyone in college football history.
