Two College of Engineering alumni were named by the Penn State Board of Trustees as recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award. The award is the University's highest individual honor. A total of nine alumni from across Penn State were selected for the award. Engineering’s recipients are Harry Eberly of Raleigh, N.C., and Frank Salizzoni of Jupiter, Fla. Eberly is a 1945 chemical engineering graduate. He is a retired executive vice president of the Memorex-Telex Corp. Salizzoni is a 1960 industrial engineering graudate. He is the retired chairman of H&R Block.
