Get students to talk in class with Student Centered Discussion

Certified Student Centered Discussion (SCD) consultants from the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will explore elements of effective classroom discussion as well as techniques for introducing these processes from 1to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in 315 Rider Building, University Park. SCD is a model which trains students in the process of developing, strengthening, and practicing more efficient and productive communication, interpersonal and thinking skills.
