College of Engineering students are celebrating National Engineers Week with a list of activities that run throughout this week. The events are student-initiated and sponsored by student groups within the college.

Activities kick off with a scavenger hunt sponsored by the Engineering Honor Society, Tau Beta Pi. The hunt explores engineering at Penn State through campus landmarks. Those who complete the tasks will be entered to win prizes. Students can pick up surveys in Hammond Building’s Kunkle Lounge or outside of the Tau Beta Pi office in 113 Hammond today through Friday.

The Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC) will host an event from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in Kunkle Lounge to demonstrate life as an engineering graduate student. EGSC will promote graduate studies and research opportunities while offering interaction with current graduate students. Research posters will be on display.
