Baseball announces two time changes for future games

University Park, Pa. — Two starting times for upcoming games for the Penn State baseball team have been changed this week, one for a home game and one for a road game. The times for both the midweek game against Pittsburgh scheduled for next Wednesday, April 9 and the series opener of the Indiana series scheduled for Friday, April 18 have been moved.

The game scheduled for next Wednesday against Pittsburgh has been moved to an afternoon start of 3 p.m. The game was previously scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start on Pittsburgh's Trees Field. The game will still be played at the location but at an earlier time as the Nittany Lions and Panthers are scheduled to meet for the first time since 2006 after last year's game scheduled at Penn State was cancelled due to weather.

Penn State's scheduled series opener on Blue-White Weekend against Indiana on April 18 has now been moved back to a 6:35 p.m. start. It had originally been moved to a 4:05 p.m. start due to the Gridiron Bash concert scheduled for Beaver Stadium but with the Gridiron Bash being postponed this year, there was no longer a need to play the game earlier. Penn State's doubleheader on April 19 is scheduled to start shortly after the conclusion of the spring football game at 4:35 p.m.

The Nittany Lions host Michigan for a four-game series this weekend beginning Friday (April 4) at 6:35 p.m.
