Musicians perform at The Kennedy Center

University Park, Pa. -- Two busloads of Penn State School of Music students traveled to Washington, D.C., on Friday (May 2) to perform in the second annual Penn State School of Music President's Concert.

This year's event was held at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and featured eight different performing groups. The event, held in conjunction with the Penn State Alumni Association, gives the University an opportunity to showcase some of its most talented student musicians at major performance venues in the region. Last year's concert was at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, and next year's will be at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.
