Penn State Beaver staff members Jeremy Lindner and Denise Turyan were appointed to new positions on campus, effective July 1.
Lindner has been named director of the Office of Housing and Food Services. His previous position on campus was manager in that office. Before joining Beaver campus in 2007, he was manager of Housing and Food Services for three years at Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Previously, Lindner worked for four years as front-of-the-house manager for Bravo Cucina Italiana and Select Restaurants, Inc. in Pittsburgh where he divided his time between The Roxy Cafe and The Top of the Triangle. Turyan has been named staff assistant in the Office of Student Affairs. Prior to this appointment, she served as the staff assistant for residence life and the office assistant for the campus Reach Out program. She also worked in the campus bookstore for one year and was a staff assistant in the Office of Housing and Food Services for four years.
