Sixers to hold open practice at the Jordan Center

University Park, Pa. — The Philadelphia 76ers will hold an open practice from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Penn State University’s Bryce Jordan Center as part of the team’s annual training camp. The full-team practice is free to the public. Parking also will be free.

This will be the fans' first opportunity to see Elton Brand, Andre Iguodala and the rest of the Sixers on the court this season. Head Coach Maurice Cheeks and his staff will put the full team through practice and game situations, plus hold an intra-squad scrimmage.

Additionally, there will be a T-shirt toss at the conclusion of the open practice.

The team’s six-day training camp will tip-off on Tuesday, Sept. 30, through Sunday, Oct. 5, when they depart for their first preseason game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the Mullins Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
